God began to bring together the group, known to the world as the Twins of Thunder, in high school. Will (Will-Echo) and Byron (Yoke) were friends, but had no idea that God was getting to ready to merge them together to do a great work. "We had our separate friends, but we were cool each other as well", Will remembers. It wasn't until their senior year that as friends, they grew closer. After high school, God began to have His way in both of their lives.

God put it on Byron's heart to bring them together as a group. After receiving the confirmation they needed through prayer, the Twins of Thunder was birthed. Growing more with life and as Christians, the Twins of Thunder began their journey as a rap ministry using their talents and gifts for the Kingdom of God.With much prayer and hard work, God brought forth their debut album Clarion Call in 2006. After the release of the album, they performed in a number of shows throughout the U.S. Their God-given skill, passion and energy even allowed them to open up for artists, such as Israel Houghton, after winning the Rising Star Challenge in Orlando, FL.

The mission of the Twins of Thunder is to love people into a relationship with Jesus, despite what they have been through and where they have came from; to help advance the kingdom of God in every area of life. The Twins of Thunder strive to deliver the message of love, unity, and belief in God to this young generation, not only by talking the talk but walking the walk, and their love for music is just one of the ways to get the job done.
